Christine Leslie

I cannot find any info about this British author. She appears to have only written the one book which is now rarely seen and is collectable mainly for the lovely classic Anne Bullen illustrations. She has also contributed a short story to a pony annual, and it is possible she may have written more short pony stories.

(MAX PARRISH 1965)
ILLUSTRATED BY HGAROLD BEARDS
SUMMARY: A nice story about a girl who loves her best friend's pony. But Stephanie's friend Joan, who also rides and helps with Dulcie, loves the little pony. When Stephanie's new mount Nanette arrives on trial, Joan has one last chance to prove Dulcie's worth by riding her in the one day event. Can she persuade her friend to keep Dulcie instead of the new pony?
